Grant for Inscription Expenses

of Licentiate and Doctorate Studies

In Science and Philosophy

The Specialization in “Science and Philosophy” offers annual grants for the Inscription costs alone of the Licentiate or the Doctorate.  The grants will be assigned to those candidates considered most suitable by the Examining Commission.

In order to obtain the Grant, the following documents must be sent or taken by person to the Secretary’s Office of the Specialization in “Science and Philosophy” before the 15th of September (Gregorian Pontifical University, Piazza della Pilotta, 4 - 00187 Roma; tel. and fax 0039-06-6701-5357, e-mail sciephil@unigre.it):

• A letter of Presentation from an Ecclesiastical Authority, (and if possible, also from an Academic one).

• A copy of the applicant’s qualifications (for the Doctorate it is necessary to have the degree of an Ecclesiastical University) as well as a document of the relevant University with the subjects taken and the exam results of the same.
   
• A photocopy of a document of Identity.

IMPORTANT: Admission to Doctorate and Licentiate Studies is the exclusive competence of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Gregorian Pontifical University. The candidate must request admission at the Secretary’s Office of the Faculty, and only the positive response of this Faculty permits the candidate to pursue the subsequent steps at the Secretary’s Office of the Specialisation in Science and Philosophy.
