Loan Service

This service is exclusively reserved to the Teaching Staff of the PUG ("emeriti", "stabili" and "incaricati associati") and to the members of the University's resident religious community. The "invitati" and the "assistenti" need a special written request from their respective deans or directors to be considered eligible for external loans. The Head Librarian would then give the necessary authorization.

Internal Loan Service Maneat

Maneat (1 week): if users wish to continue consulting books (max. 5 volumes) requested from the closed stacks, it is possible to leave them on the reading desks along with the bookmark Maneat (available at the Entrance Desk).

Maneat (2 or more weeks): Library users who would like to continue the consultation of some "Maneat books" (max. 5 volumes) requested from the closed stacks in the following week can make the weekend Maneat request from the Staff members in the Requests Office, by filling out and turning the particular yellow slip, either before 6.00pm on Friday or 10.00am on Saturday.

Exempt from the Maneat services: all volumes whose location code begins with S.L (the works that are directly accessible in the various reading rooms), periodicals (both recent issues as well as bound volumes).
