Guided tours aimed to promote a proper exploitation of the Library resources and services by the users
The Library organizes guided tours every Twesday from 2:00pm to 3:30pm (max 20 users).
The guided tours are:
open to institutional users, all external users (current and potential);
compulsory for all external users (professors, researchers, graduate and doctoral students) who have never had access to PUG Library or don't access to it since last three years;
recommended to all "new" students of Gregorian University.
The guided tours offer:
- a functional description of spaces reserved to users;
- a presentation of:
- Library Holdings (books, periodicals, special collections);
- Library Classification System;
- Electronic Catalog (OPAC) and Card Catalogs;
- Data Bases Service and Electronic Periodicals Service;
- the best ways to make use of Library services (Consultation, In loco loan , Photocopying and Conditions of access are illustrated;
- User Education Program.

Tours can also be set up to target a specific audience, and take into account particular themes and services.
