2012-2013 Brenninkmeijer-Werhahn Visiting Professorship
at the
Hebrew University of Jerusalem
In the context of the ongoing exchange program between the Hebrew University of Jerusalem through its Center for the Study of Christianity and the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome through its Cardinal Bea Centre for Judaic Studies, the position of a Visiting Professor in Christian Studies at the Hebrew University is becoming available for the academic year 2012-2013.
The successful candidate is expected to give the annual Brenninkmeijer-Werhahn Public Lecture and to moderate a subsequent meeting with graduate students further engaging with the lecture’s topic. The Public Lecture will be delivered on Tuesday, 15 January, 2013. The Public Lecture may cover any area of Christianity or Jewish-Christian Relations and should be given in English.
The Center for the Study of Christianity offers to the successful candidate an honorarium of Euro 800 as well as travel expenses and accommodation for one week. All payments are exempt from Israeli taxation.
A Letter of application, including a C.V. and two lecture proposals, are due by 29 February, 2012. A decision will be announced by 29 March, 2012.
