GUIDED VISITS TO MISSION SITES (A.Y. 2023/2024)
Objectives: The guided visits to mission sites in Rome are intended to help participants understand the context of the development of the Christian community from the period of persecution to its eventual expansion beyond Rome.
Contents: The organized visits will focus on some areas of the pre-Christian Rome, the period of persecution by visiting places of martyrdom and churches dedicated to early Christiana martyrs, and selected sites and churches during the period after Christianity had been recognized officially as a religion in the Roman Empire.
Methodology: Scheduled visits to selected sites.
Means of Evaluation : Participants will be asked to share their insights and impressions on the visits and prepare a short reflection after the seminar.
