Diploma in Christian and Medieval Antiquities

The proposal of the Diploma in Christian and Medieval Antiquities is in line with the studies of History of the Ancient and Medieval Church undertaken since the foundation of the Faculty of Ecclesiastical History.

The Diploma - in Italian and lasting two semesters - is intended to offer a solid basic preparation to those who wish to embark on historical, historical-artistic and archaeological studies or to learn about and deepen their knowledge of topics of interest. It is a training course dedicated to the knowledge of the History of the Church of Rome through written, monumental and historical-artistic sources.

Students will thus be able to combine frontal lessons with practical activities that will be implemented within the courses, enriched by the opportunity to visit and learn about the monuments of the city, the symbol of the History of the Church and the Papacy.

The lessons will be held in attendance within the limits allowed by health regulations. Students who will not be able to attend, will be guaranteed to participate in the lessons by telepresence.
