Jesuit World of Universities and Schools

The newly published Printable Map called the “Jesuit World of Universities and Schools” (2020) brings together the different Jesuit Education networks of the six Jesuit Conferences worldwide. This Map was developed as a collaboration between the Secretariat for Higher Education and the Secretariat for Education (Secondary and Pre-secondary) of the Society of Jesus and produced by the International Association of Jesuit Universities (IAJU) and Educate Magis. The Map is available in three languages (English, Spanish, French) and can be downloaded in different formats here “New Jesuit World of Universities and Schools Map”.

The Global “Combined” Map illustrates the rich heritage of the Society of Jesus of educating persons for and with others across the world and demonstrates the global connectedness of all Jesuit educational institutions. Whether a student enrols into a Jesuit University, studies at a Jesuit School or attends a course in a Jesuit Refugee Service Education Project or learns at a Fe y Alegría School they are all part of the same global network and community, they will find that these educational institutions share in the same Ignatian DNA inspired by the contemplative spirituality of St. Ignatius and reflective and action oriented Ignatian pedagogy.
