The deep human and spiritual formation of people has been at the heart of the Institute of Psychology since its foundation 50 years ago. The heart of this formation is the development of a vocational identity centred in the person of Christ (cf. Eph 4:15). The Institute has always pursued a holistic approach to the human person, convinced that only through dialogue and collaboration with other disciplines can we understand the person more deeply, both in his or her inner personal dimension and in his or her outer dimension as a builder of society. To celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the Institute of Psychology, we are proposing a series of interdisciplinary dialogues on different aspects of the theme of the relationship between identity and the Christian vocation. Each meeting will present a dialogue between two professors of the Pontifical Gregorian University, one belonging to the Institute of Psychology and the other to another academic unit.
