Integrating manuscripts into the BeWeb catalogue

The BeWeb catalog is enriched with manuscripts. The integration of the manuscripts belonging to the ecclesiastical institutes described in the Manus OnLine (MOL) management system dell' Istituto Centrale per il Catalogo Unico (ICCU) adds an important step, already seen in the bibliographic field with the integration of the book catalogs with the ecclesiastical libraries present in SBN, towards the access from a single point of the collections owned by the ecclesiastical institutions - MAB and not only.

The descriptions of the manuscripts in MOL are integrated with the ancient and modern bilbiographical material of the bilbiographical portal, allowing a unique access to research on cultural heritage of ecclesiastical property that within BeWeb is part of a cross-disciplinary perspective.
