Mary, mother of Jesus (called Isa or al-Masih) is a highly respected figure, often invoked even by Muslims: in fact, she is the only woman mentioned with a proper name in the Koran. The Forum wants to offer an analysis of the various texts and integrate them with a series of images: dozens of artistic reproductions illustrating the statements, coming from the artistic ateliers of Persia, India, the Ottoman Empire and some living Muslim painter. Many of these images that will be shown are still known only by rare specialists.
