S.E. Mons. Pietro Rossano: Il Vaticano in dialogo con le religioni dell'Asia

On the thirtieth anniversary of his death, this event intends to make known the theological contribution and experience of His Excellency Msgr. Pietro Rossano (1923-1991), from 1964 to 1983 first Under-Secretary and then Secretary of the then Secretariat for Non-Christians, since 1988 Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue.

Rossano was one of the pioneers of interreligious dialogue, official interlocutor of the Holy See in many personal meetings with representatives and institutions of the various religions of the world. Among his many activities, from 1968 to 1983, he was also a professor at the Faculty of Missiology of the Pontifical Gregorian University. 

Within this context, the forum will highlight the dialogical aspect with the religions of Asia.
