SAECULUM OBSCURUM - Papato e Roma nei riflessi di un secolo controverso

Historiographic judgments made in the past have conditioned the understanding of the Roman and papal tenth century, mainly grasping its murky and legendary characters. In order to reconsider without bias some aspects of the so-called Saeculum obscurum, the Study Day intends to trace the dynamics of the social, religious and urban history of Rome and the Papacy.
