Tuition and fees

The annual registration fees can be paid in two equal installments:

  • First semester: by 28th September 2023
  • Second semester: by 29th January 2024

After this date the academic fee will be increased by € 50.

How to pay?

Academic fees can be paid with:

  • Online, online through the "Online payment academic fees" portal;
  • at the Cash Desk, by check, debit card, credit card or cash;
  • by bank transfer to the account of the Pontifical Gregorian University at UNICREDIT,
    BAN: IT76A0200805181000400554617; B.I.C. UNCRITM1B44;
  • by bank transfer to c/c IOR n. 2589500.1.

For the latter two methods, the bank transfer receipt must be sent by email to [email protected]. If the value date of the bank transfer is later than the last day for enrolment, it is necessary to integrate the bank transfer amount with the surcharge for late enrolment.
The payment receipt can be downloaded directly from the student's online services page after registration.

Alberto Hurtado Centre for Faith and Culture

Annual amounts: students of the Hurtado Centre are asked to contribute Euro 110 for one module, Euro 220 for two modules exclusively among those offered by the Hurtado Centre.

Doctorate (Third Cycle) 

The enrollment fee for the PhD is € 4,020. It is also possible to pay the fee in six semi-annual installments of € 670 each to be paid by October 30 and February 28 (only for the Faculty of Canon Law are anticipated to October 16 and February 15) of each year without application of surcharges. Beyond these dates, the academic fee will be increased by € 50. Students enrolled in the Third Cycle before the A.Y. 2022-2023 continue to maintain the amount of the semester installments due.

Students who enroll in the Doctorate with Specialization in Jurisprudence, in the Faculty of Canon Law, in the year in which they attend the Jurisprudence program pay an additional fee of € 2,160.

At the later stages of the Doctorate, the following fees must be paid, which amount to:

Any continuation of the Third Cycle, beyond three years from the date of enrollment, will require an "annual validation" and the payment of the relative fee of € 670 to be paid by September 10, 2024. However, the full Doctorate registration fee and/or the annual validation must always be paid before the Dissertation is submitted.

Defense will take place approximately two months after the submission of the dissertation. The period from July 1 to August 31 of each year is not considered in the calculation of the two months. June 21, 2024 is the last date for submission of the Dissertation, which allows for defense by October 21, 2024 without incurring any annual validation fee scheduled for the following Academic Year.
