Licentiate of Spiritual Theology with specialization in Vocational Formation

Director Fr. Stanisław Morgalla, SJ

Ordinary students

The Faculty of Theology with the collaboration of the Centre offers a two-year degree program in Spiritual Theology with specialization in Vocational Formation, more particularly oriented towards the Formation of Formators to the Priesthood and Consecrated Life, for a total of 120 ECTS, aimed at those who have obtained the baccalaureate in a Faculty of Theology that confers canonical academic degrees.

The license cycle, or Second Cycle, leads the student to a deeper knowledge and a special experience of the subjects taught; it also gives students the ability to use the knowledge acquired, both for their practical application and for scientific research - this, of course, with the appropriate and necessary completion of required courses, as well as the elaboration of a written thesis and the final summary exam.

Students who have completed the six-year philosophical-theological program in ecclesiastical centers, which do not confer canonical academic degrees must obtain the authorization of the Faculty of Theology and present the admission exam as established.

License in Spiritual Theology with specialization in Vocational Formation:

  • It consists of required and optional courses, seminars, visits to some dicasteries of the Holy See, Seminaries and Colleges, guided experiences of spiritual and vocational accompaniment and teamwork.
  • All required and elective courses offered by the Centre belong to the area of spiritual, dogmatic and fundamental theology, of anthropological psychology, of canon law and of Ignatian pedagogy according to a proper proportion.
