Objectives : To offer a comprehensive vision of Theology-in the context of the Church Fathers’ unique, perennially valid contribution.
Contents: The seminar considers principal themes in dogmatic, fundamental and moral theology in light of the Church’s patristic theological heritage and its posterior development culminating in the Second Vatican Council.
Methodology : Each week the student will be responsible for a set of assigned readings and an obligatory essay (3 pages in length.)
Means of evaluation : I semester: research paper (10 pages) and participation in group discussions. II semester: the weekly essays of the entire course and participation in group discussions.
