Il Cardinal Osio

The conference is organized by the University of Warmia and Mazury in collaboration with the Pontifical Gregorian University and sponsored by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland to the Holy See, the Pontifical Committee for Historical Sciences and the Metropolitan Archbishop of Warmia. 
It is held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, heir to the work of Cardinal Stanislaus Osio and the Society of Jesus, for the teaching of theology in Warmia. 
During the days of the conference, an exhibition of paintings by contemporary Warmian authors is also hosted, presenting the city of Braniewo where the first Jesuit College in Poland was founded together with the figure of its founder, Cardinal Stanislaus Osio. 
The exhibition can be visited in the John Paul II Hall, at the Church of San Stanislao in Rome in Via delle Botteghe Oscure n.15.
