La devozione Sikh nei Nagar Kirtan (Processioni Religiose) in Italia. Il rituale espresso nello spazio sonoro

In Sikh communities, both in the motherland and in the diaspora, it is customary to celebrate important events and anniversaries through religious processions known as "nagar kirtan." This expression can be translated into Italian as "the city praising" or "singing in the city." These definitions lead us to the deeper meaning of such a ritual, emphasizing movement, the city as a different and open space than the temple, and especially singing and sounds as concrete and metaphorical means of appropriating the city space through prayers.
