Objectives: At the end of the course, the students will be able to write safeguarding guidelines that are culturally sensitive and adapted to their own contexts or work places.

Content : Essential elements of guidelines, considering also the aspects of canon and civil law; a critical analysis of the existing guidelines.

Methodology: The course will combine lectures, reading, and seminar discussion, and will focus on a range of selected texts.

Means of evaluation: Evaluation will be based on class participation and a written paper.
