Objectives: The seminar will address in a dialogical manner with students and among docents some challenges facing contemporary societies. The two lecturers will take turns in addressing the issues and seeking with the students possible ways of responding to these issues.

Content: The themes of the seminar will be:
1. Ecology
2. Digital/Artificial intelligence
3. War and conflict
4. Online safety, fake news and misinformation
5. Migration
6. Globalization, labor market and poverty: church perspective

Methodology: For each element they will first try to examine the problem in all its features, explore relevant biblical and theological resources and then seminarally reflect on possible solutions.

Means of evaluation: The seminar grade will be assigned as an average between classroom participation in the discussions and a personal paper on one of the topics covered in the course.
