Objectives: To recognize the new departures in Christian-Muslim dialogue in the documents of the Vatican Council II and the magisterium; The life and mission of the scholars and practitioners of Christian-Muslim Dialogue in the light of the teaching of the Church. To familiarize one with the life and mission of a few pioneers in Christian-Muslim Dialogue and to learn and appreciate their contribution to the mission of Dialogue between Christians and Muslims.

Contents:
1. Introduction to relevant documents to Christian-Muslim Relation.
2. Introducing Christians imitating Christ in their relationship with Muslims: St. Charles de Foucauld and a few missionaries among Muslims in our times.

Metodology: The workshop includes class room presentation by the lecturer, reading days and class room presentation by students.

Means of evaluation: Presentation for 15 minutes on a chosen topic. A short assignment (2000 words).
