SL2002  THE VOCATION OF THE BUSINESS LEADER (A.Y. 2021/2022)

Objectives: 1. Students will be able to understand and put into practice
Ignatian pedagogy (experience, reflection, action, and evaluation) and
the four pillars of heroic leadership (self-awareness, ingenuity, love, and
heroism), have increased their self-understanding (strengths, blind spots,
implicit biases), and engaged in a reflective business operation in complexity
of the world.
2. In addition, students will apply responsible awareness, the learned
skills and dispositions as aspiring leaders to make use of these practices to
help create a more open, reflective, and healthy multicultural business
environment with the process of Seeing, Judging, and Acting accodance
with Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace.

Content: The primary hallmark of a Jesuit education is cura personalis,
individual care and concern for each person. One concrete implication
of this is student-centered methods. An adult education directed towards
self-actualization, gaining experience, and problem-solving. Thus, the
method conducted in this one-week workshop includes lecture, guided
readings, group discussions/activities, and invidual presentations on their
research project.

Evalution: Students will be assessed on the following activities:
• Class participation/Assignments (Especially evidence of having completed
the readings) and punctuality; Completion of assignments
and activities.
