On Wednesday, 10 January 2024, the Holy Father appointed Rev. Giuseppe Bonfrate, Ordinary Professor of the Faculty of Theology and Director of the Faith and Culture Centre 'Alberto Hurtado', as Consultor of the General Secretariat of the Synod. Rev. Bonfrate participated in the XVI General Assembly of the Synod as President Delegate (Italy).
