In accordance with the procedure established by art. 21, §1, of the Statutes of the Pontifical Gregorian University, its Vice Grand Chancellor, Fr. Arturo Sosa S.J., appointed on 5 October and effective immediately Fr. Giuseppe Di Luccio S.J., new Vice Academic Rector, and Fr. Lino Dan S.J., Administrative Vice Rector. Fr. Dan thus continues in the office he already holds at the Gregorian University since 1 January 2017.

"While thanking Fr. Di Luccio to assume this mission and Fr. Dan to continue as Administrative Vice Rector," writes Rector Lewis to the University Community, "on my own behalf and on behalf of the entire University, I extend to both of them my and our best wishes."
