The Gregorian University Foundation (GUF) is pleased to present the organization's 2021 Impact Report. The issue includes updates from GUF president Fr McFarland, GUF Chairman William Whelan, students and faculty. Additionally, there is a comprehensive list or our generous donors.
«The year was clouded by deep, dark shadows, most notably the COVID-19 pandemic, which continued to bring severe illnesses, hospitalization and many, many deaths and disrupted our way of life in fundamental ways. [...] Further aggravating the situation were the many painful, divisive and paralyzing conflicts», Fr. McFarland writes. «Yet in the midst of all this gloom, millions heroically carried on with their duties of providing health care, education and other essential services; and the population as a whole showed remarkable resilience as they carried on their lives in spite of the many challenges».
