The Gregorian University Foundation (GUF) is pleased to present the organization's 2022 Impact Report. The Report includes updates offered by GUF President Fr. Michael C. McFarland S.J., Director William J. Whelan III, as well as news on operating fund, funding highlights, foundation grants, initiatives, programs and events promoted by the GUF.
«The loosening of COVID restrictions meant that we could do more travel and hold more events. This included a very successful Colloquium in Rome in October. The 34 participants enjoyed visiting the Gregorian University, the Biblical Institute and the Oriental Institute», Fr. McFarland writes. «Their most important initiative is the integration of the Biblical and Oriental Institutes into the Gregorian to form one university with two specialized institutes that maintain their special character, programs and missions. The first step of this process was to articulate a clear vision for the future of the new Gregorian University. With that process completed, the implementation of the transition is now underway. In the meantime, the institutions have continued to add new programs and expand others in response to the needs of the Church and the communities they serve».
The year 2022 was a year of great generosity, with a significant growth in the number of donations received (nearly 50 percent more than in 2021). View the 2022 Impact Report: https://gregorianfoundation.org/impact-report-2022/
