Improving the quality of research

Beginning this academic year the Gregorian University is offering to its students and faculty the use of the Compilatio Software, an instrument which will help improve the quality of citations, in particular their accuracy. This will help assure the originality of the intellectual work of both students (term papers, theses, and dissertations), and faculty (articles and books).

The Gregorian is hoping to reinforce and better guarantee best academic practices on the part of all members of the university community. This initiative is also tied to the recent revision of the Ethical Norms of the University as well as the norms concerning Plagiarism over the last three years. The Commission for Academic Quality has also created a protocol for faculty to follow in cases of plagiarism.

Opening the “Services Online” tab students and faculty will be able to find a box for Compilatio. This will initiate a request for credentials in order to create an account to access the platform.
