Onsite learning: commitment and wish

The Pontifical Gregorian University, sharing the indications of the Holy See and the Italian Government, and responding to the common desire of the university community, is committed to ensuring that teaching takes place "first and foremost" in presence.

• Onsite learning. In view of the new academic year, the capacity of the classrooms has been recalculated and the number of places available is higher than in the previous year, in compliance with the regulations issued by the Italian Government. As a result, the University hopes that all students will be able to attend in person from the first day of classes. Any exceptions will be communicated as soon as possible to those enrolled in the courses concerned. End-of-semester examinations will also be held in person.

• Blended learning. Blendend learning can still be used in situations that justify it. It could be used, for example, if the weekly alternation of students is necessary for reasons of classroom capacity; or to allow attendance by infected or quarantined students; or for those who cannot yet arrive in Italy due to difficulties in obtaining an entry visa.

• Recorded lessons. Any recordings of lessons will be made at the discretion of each teacher and will remain available on the Moodle platform for a two-week period.

The conditions already communicated regarding access to the University and compliance with health protocols within its facilities remain valid.
