The Inauguration of the Academic Year 2020-2021, 471th since the founding of the Collegio Romano, will be celebrated on Monday 4 October, at 4:30 p.m., at the church of Sant'Ignazio in Campo Marzio. On the occasion of the Ignatian Year, the solemn celebration will be presided over by Fr Arturo Sosa, General Superior of the Society of Jesus and Vice-Chancellor of the Pontifical Gregorian University.

In compliance with the spacing rules and the maximum number of the church's capacity, however, access will be allowed only by nominal invitation. The university community and friends of the Gregorian are warmly invited to join in prayer by attending Mass through live streaming on University's Youtube channel.
