The Gregorian University encourages PET recycling

Aware that "good practices" are an integral part of the human and academic formation it wishes to offer its students, the Pontifical Gregorian University aims to further encourage solutions of care and respect for our Common Home.

With this in mind, in the past few days the Gregoriana's Technical Office has provided for the activation of an eco compactor for the collection and recycling of PET plastic bottles. Collecting PET plastic bottles not only helps the environment, but you can also collect points for discounts and rewards (see the brochure HERE).

The eco compactor is located in the corridor of the Central Building leading to the parking lot. Bottles must be empty, not crushed, and have the PET symbol for recycling present. In addition, the bottle label must be intact and legible, as the eco compactor must read the barcode on the bottle.

Following collection, the bottles will be directed to a recycling center for the production of new bottles. The eco compactor has been made available by Coripet, a voluntary consortium, recognized by the Italian Ministry of the Environment, among manufacturers, converters and recyclers of PET bottles.
