Religious tourism as a way for the communication of Beauty and a tool for knowledge and dialogue between cultures

The Pontifical Gregorian University and the Ministry of Tourism are organizing a morning study to reflect on issues of common interest, such as religious tourism as a way of communicating Beauty and a tool for knowledge and dialogue between cultures.

The meeting aims to be an opportunity to:

• Initiate a shared reflection on the increasingly urgent need to raise awareness among ecclesiastical and civil institutions on the issues of hospitality and knowledge linked to cultural, religious and leisure tourism;
• Offer the same institutions the tools to train operators capable of accompanying and guiding pilgrims, tourists and visitors to the correct knowledge and enjoyment of the cultural heritage, in particular that of religious interest, made up of cultural and landscape assets, identity elements of a Nation. Every single community, feeling them as its own, recognizes itself.
