The author two books, Dr. Rinaldo Marmara, with these publications wants to signify the importance of Archives in the service of History. The first volume presented: The House of the Virgin Mary was composed by taking the necessary material from the various ecclesiastical archives, the sources complementing each other by forming a documentation on this unique shrine in the world, a witness to the Assumption of Mary. The second volume is in fact a Catalogue of collected Documents that tell the story of Bishop Rotta's Delegation to Turkey. Through this unique Catalog, the researcher finds himself within reach of the Vatican archives while remaining in Turkey. The Catalog is in Turkish with transcription of the documents in the original language, Italian and French.
