What you need

If you have already been a student of the Gregorian, you were assigned a Student ID number that grants direct access to the online student services (the ID can be requested at [email protected]).

If you do not have a Student ID number you will have to follow the online procedure to request one. Please have the following available on your PC, tablet or smartphone: an identification photo in JPG format and the following mandatory documentation in PDF format:

• an identity document or passport;
• the original of your school leaving certificate or pre-university studies diploma, except for guest students;
• for non-EU students: a Visa “for study purposes” (for lay people) and/or for “religious reasons” (for seminarians and religious people) issued by the Italian Consular Authority of your country of origin;
• for non-Italian students: a certificate of attendance of an Italian language course lasting no less than 5 weeks (100 hours), issued by the institution where you attended the course;
• for religious, seminarians and members of associations or movements recognized by the Ecclesiastical Authority: the authorization of the Rector, Superior or Ecclesiastical Assistant;
• for diocesan priests domiciled in Rome in non-recognized colleges: a certificate of recognition of the ministerial faculties (certificazione del riconoscimento delle facoltà ministeriali) issued by the Vicariate of Rome;
• for the laity, a letter of presentation from an ecclesiastical authority.

You will then be ready to start the online registration which has been active since 1st September 2023.
