21 April 2021

The webinar on 21 April 2021 was dedicated to the presentation of the new Licentiate in Judaic Studies and Jewish-Christian Relations. A new category of canonical Licentiate established by the Congregation for Catholic Education on 20 October 2020, it is offered exclusively at the Pontifical Gregorian University. The curriculum and potential impact of the programme on Jewish-Christian relations was illustrated, and time was dedicated to questions from the public and a rabbinic-patristic discussion led by two professors from the Cardinal Bea Centre for Judaic Studies as an example of the training being offered.
