In the context of the local ecclesiastical courts, for many years now and in particular following the issuing of new procedural norms, it has been necessary to provide for the operators called upon to intervene in the various phases of the process of matrimonial nullity to have an adequate, up-to-date and appropriate preparation in order to be able to deal with the numerous cases that arise in this field. The Diploma of Specialization in Matrimonial Jurisprudence, with its Seminars and Courses, intends to facilitate the preparation, updating and training of those who work or will begin to work in this field at different levels, with a thorough, serious and rigorous analysis of the current rules, doctrine and jurisprudence.
- Admission to the program for the Diploma in Jurisprudence presupposes the Licentiate in Canon Law (JCL) with an overall mark of at least 8/10, or the Doctorate in Canon Law (JCD).
- It is possible to enroll simultaneously for both the Doctorate in Canon Law and the Diploma in Jurisprudence. For one doing so, participation in courses leading to the Diploma replaces participation in the Cursus ad doctoratum.
- The number of students who can be admitted to the Diploma program is limited (at most 14). In the selection process, candidates coming from our own Faculty will receive precedence.
