With the occasion of the 400th anniversary of Saint Robert Bellarmine death, the Historical Archives of the Pontifical Gregorian University launched a new section on our website: the Museion.

Inspired by the ancient sacred space dedicated to the Muses where teachers and disciples freely argued and made research on any subject, this Museion aims to become a space where, starting from the archival heritage of our university, several “trails” will describe the documentary footprints arrived to our hands from the past.

The first “trail” title is “Unlocking Bellarmine” and takes inspiration from the observations made over time about Robert Bellarmine and his work. From the main section it’s possible to visit several “rooms”:
